Arrows Youngsters achieve representative honours

Two of Arrows future stars have been selected for the East Midlands development squads. Team mates Ross Walcott and Aidan Dennison were selected to represent the region after outstanding performances for Derbyshire in the east Midlands trial tournament held in Nottingham.

Both youngsters although only U13’s started for the Arrows U14’s in 2010/11 and helped that team make the play offs were they were beaten by eventual winners Manchester Magic. Both are products of the nationally recognised Arrows Junior Development system.

They are currently attending squad sessions with the East Midlands but both have an excellent chance of making that team despite being two of the youngest in the squad.

Ross is an athletic guard who can play any of the perimeter positions while Aidan has tremendous strength which allows him to play again a multitude of positions.

James and Jonathan Kelly have worked hard with this age group and this coming season will see the Arrows compete at both U14 and U15 levels.
