The Arrows got off to a slow start but a strong third quarter saw them take a decisive advantage that their defence was able to secure in the final quarter.

The Arrows appeared to be in charge of the game throughout however a woeful night of free throw shooting allowed the Giants to hang around the game. It took a 23 – 13 final period to confirm the Arrows superiority on the night as they took their league record to 5 – 2.

The Arrows defence in which Sam Spare and Joseph Baugh were prominent caused the Giants problems particularly in the final minutes when they were held scoreless.
