The Arrows Basketball Club competes in both local and national leagues and provides recreational basketball for all ages in Killamarsh, Dronfield and Sheffield.
We field teams from recreational to elite levels from the age of 4 to Senior Men. So if you'd like a chance to shine and think basketball is the sport for you there's every opportunity to become a star at the Arrows.
Recreational basketball is another major part of Arrows club activities so if your aspirations go no further than keeping fit and having fun then we'd be equally pleased to see you. Basketball is a great way to develop agility and reactions and we cater for all ages from 5 upwards at this level.
We're playing a big part in this initiative to promote basketball in junior schools and we host a monthly festival of basketball action supported by junior school students from Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield.
Our match base is at Killamarsh Sports Centre where we are supported by Sport England and the local Parish Council to promote and develop basketball in the area. We'll also be hosting a series of Friday night matches in October-December 2011, and running a 'Get Fit and Make Friends' series for those who take their basketball a little less seriously.
Killamarsh Sports Centre is also the host to all the Arrows home fixtures from U10s to Mens National League Division 2.
We train at Dronfield Sports Centre where we also run basketball for fun sessions on a Friday eveing, and at the English Institute for Sport on Coleridge Rd, Sheffield on a Wednesday evenings.
